February is the month of love, named after Februa, an ancient purification feast. February is the month to purify and purge any attitudes or beliefs about intimacy that limit our experience of love and our ability to bring more of it into the world. I thought I’d write about love and how we attract love in our life.
Many people seek fulfillment or want another person to make us happy or feel fulfilled. When we look to
others to love us, we are often disappointed. Rather than limit the idea of love to a spouse or significant
other, I invite you to affiliate with something much greater. This greater thing is love for your “SELF” and the commitment to fully express your individual “gift(s)” in the world. If you haven’t made a “whole-hearted commitment to your “SELF”, how can you expect anyone else to?
When you find the love in your life - - in this case, when you discover your passion and purpose and fulfill and express it - - you bring a whole person into your relationship. Then you are ready to attract relationships with others that are in alignment with your values and who you are. You deserve a happy, loving, healthy, vital relationship. It’s your life
