November, the eleventh month, gets its name from the fact that it was the ninth month of the Roman calendar. The number nine (9) represents completion of a cycle. The number eleven (11) represents the power to creatively express the dynamic balance of masculine and feminine, of doing and being. November is all about deep involvements and intense transformation, and the horizons of your mind and world.
November’s color is brown which represents the elimination of all that is no longer needed. We honor all that we are letting go of this month to make room for new growth.
November is a time to reflect all the blessings we have received. Thanksgiving Day is set aside so we can be with family and friends, eat delicious homemade foods and express gratitude for all the good things we have experienced during the year.
I would like to invite you to make every day in November a day of Thanksgiving. Set aside time to express gratitude daily. I may be taking time at the beginning of the day before you even get out of bed to give thanks that you can walk, talk, hear, see and smell.
The Power Of Gratitude is an extremely important aspect of attracting abundance and happiness that you desire and deserve in your life. Since Thanksgiving occurs in the month of November, let’s make this a month of expressing gratitude – not just one day.
Developing an attitude of gratitude is one of the most important things that you can do to attract and manifest the things that you desire into your life. In fact, it's essential that you do!
Let’s take a look at some action steps you can take to create an attitude of gratitude.

1. Create a gratitude list. Consider writing at least one thing each day that you are grateful for in your journal. This allows you to bring into your awareness the good things that are happening in your life on a day to day basis.
"When you are grateful fear disappears and abundance appears" -Anthony Robbins
2. Acknowledge friends and family members for the helpful things they do for you.
3. Recognize people you meet (neighbors, store employees, store owners) during the day and tell thank them for what they do/ their friendship and or their talents.
4. Make someone feel special today. Take time to leave a note for someone that says how much you appreciate and or love them. Everyone likes to get an unexpected card or letter for no particular reason – just because you were thinking of them.
5. Smile at everyone one you meet each day and send them positive energy to complete everything they need to do that day.
